My interests are electronic designs. I have
designed many electronic data collection systems from Paper Mills to Nuclear
Plants. I spend most of my time these day developing and marketing our line of
Pinewood Derby Timers. A lot of hard work and thought went into our line
Pinewood Derby Timers. We believe that they are second to none. Our Timers have
been sold around the world from Japan to Saudi Arabia. The Pinewood Derby has
become a full time job for me.
I live on a farm in Kentucky. I have a teenage
daughter and son. My daugher rides horses and dirt bikes, while my son and I
play on the computer or do Off-Road motorcycle racing. I own a
Suzuki DRZ 400. I ride the senior class (over 40)
while my son rides the beginner class. For now I am faster than my son. The
photo of father and son shows me and my son at a riders meeting before a race.
I am mostly a hardware person while my son is mostly a software person. I do
most of my programing in assemble language for micro controllers. Assemble
languages I know or once knew are 8080,Z80,6800,8048,8051 and now the Microchip Pic family. I like
science and an eclectic mix of music, but I like 1970's rock best. We grow a
few thousand "choose and cut" Christmas Trees on the farm, mostly fir trees.
The Christmas trees do not make us a lot of money, but I like trees and the way
they look growing on our hill sides.
