PS - Computer Serial
Interface
This option allows your timer to send times to a computer or
RTD (Remote Time Display). With this option and a computer you can see the
times with any timer. This option includes a 40 foot, 9 pin serial cable, the
Remote Start Switch option, the
USB to Serial interface converter and
some simple data display software. It is very useful if you use another
software package like Derby Master, Grand Prix Race Manager or Race Tender.

Upgrading the older P3 model timer later costs $75 because we
have to physically retrofit the timer.
Upgrading the K-Series timers later
will only cost $40.00, because we upgrade it with software.
USB - Serial to USB
Converter
This handy device will allow you to connect your serial
devices (RS-232) to new computer equipment that supports a USB port. This is
included if you purchase a Grand Prix package (GP2 or GPK3) or the Computer
Serial Interface (PS) option.

DV - Double Vision Timer

Available only for the K2 and K3. Not available
in a kit.
It costs an extra $200 for any timer.
RS - Remote Start Switch and
Cable
Included with a K3 timer, Grand Prix Packages or the PS Option.
The remote start switch mounts to the side of your track at the start line so
that the start gate contacts the switch when the cars are waiting on the
starting line. When the cars are released the switch opens and starts the
timer. The switch must remain open for the entire race. When the start gate
closes the timer will reset - clearing the displays and putting the timer into
a self test mode as it waits for the next race to start. If track is longer
than 35 feet please note that on the order form.

QM - Quick Mount Bracket
This
option is only for tracks with sidewalls - like the Beta Craft Aluminum
Challenger Track. It allows the timer to easily attach to the track without any
tools. It works by permanently mounting two aluminum brackets to the long rails
on either side of the track. This is highly recommended if your track has
sidewalls - the timer will fit better with this option than without it. For

LG - Laser Starting Gate
This
provides the most accurate start time for your race by using a horizontal laser
beam to detect when the cars start moving.

RTD - Remote Time Display
Fits
any model timer that has the PS option. This display allows you to alternate
between times and sequence of finish without a computer, though a computer can
still be connected.
